CZECH OCR CHAMPIONSHIPS 2023

EVENTS – 3K / 12K / STADIUM 100m / TEAM Relay
What categories can you register for?
ELITE – compete with the top OCR competitors. The highest racing category. No age division (men/women only). From this category, the qualification leads to the European or World Championships ELITE category.
AGE – compare your level within your age group. The competition age category is divided by 5 years, From this category the qualification leads to the European or World Championships Age Group category.
Age categories: 14-16(only 3K) / 17-19 / 20-24 / 25-29 / 30-34 / 35-39 / 40-44 / 45-49 / 50+
Classification into categories is according to the age reached in 2023. (e.g. a competitor who turns 20 by May 8, 2023 will be classified into the 20-24 category) Categories will not be combined. We reserve the right to combine the starts of several age groups without affecting the results of the race in individual categories.
OPEN – Come try the Czech Championhips in the Open Category.For everyone who wants to try the race and have fun, come and try the atmosphere or the obstacles themselves. The start of this category will be combined
KIDS – Category for children from 4 to 16 years old. Part of the children's races is the Juniors Championship of the Czech Republic in OCR. Competition categories: 7-9 (track 1+km) / 10-13 (track 2+km) / 14-16 (run 3K track as adults on Friday)
All categories are part of the MČR, so the children will fight for the title of Champion of the Czech Republic. If they do not have competitive ambitions, the FUN category is available, which will be non-competitive. There is a non-competitive category for the youngest – 4-6 years – where they can run together with their parents. You choose the category during registration, where you choose in which category you want to run the given race.

RACE 3K
3:00 PM – opening of the festival arena and registration (priority given to 3K participants)
4:30 PM – presentation of the rules for 3K – space at the podium
5:00 PM – start ELITE men
5:10 PM – start ELITE women
5:20 PM – start first AGE category…around
6:40 PM – start OPENRegistration ends 30 minutes before the start of the respective category.
The race limit is 2 hours.
Saturday, May 6, 2023
RACE 12K
7:00 AM – opening of the festival arena and registration (priority given to 12K participants)
8:30 AM – presentation of the rules for 12K – space at the podium
9:00 AM – start ELITE men
9:10 AM – start ELITE women
9:20 AM – start first AGE category…around
10:40 AM – start OPENRegistration ends 30 minutes before the start of the respective category.
The race limit is 3.5 hours.
KIDS
7:00 AM – opening of the festival arena and registration (priority given to 12K participants)
2:30 PM – presentation of the rules for KIDS – space at the podium
3:00 PM – start KIDS…Registration ends 30 minutes before the start of KIDS.
The race limit is 1 hour.
100m QUALIFYING
7:00 AM – registration opens (priority given to 12K participants)
6:00 PM – presentation of the rules for 100m – space at the podium
6:30 PM – start of 100m qualifying

RELAY RACE
7:00 AM – opening of the festival arena and registration
9:30 AM – presentation of the rules for RELAY RACE – space at the podium
10:00 AM – start MEN’s relay
10:30 AM – start WOMEN’s relay
11:00 AM – start MIXED relay
The race limit is 2.5 hours.
Awards ceremony will be held after the race.
100m RACE
1:45 PM – presentation of the rules for 100m – space at the podium
2:00 PM – start of the 100m final
The race limit is 10 minutes.
The exact start times of individual races will be announced no later than one month before the MČR.
Czech Championships for everyone
We are also opening the 2023 Czech OCR Championships to foreign competitors and therefore we bring you information on how the individual categories will look like:
The ELITE category will have two awardings:
1. MČR 2023 – only competitors with Czech citizenship. Announcement of the champion of the Czech Republic (medals).
2. Absolute ranking ELITE – competitors with Czech and foreign citizenship (trophy).
The AGE category will be awarded according to age categories:
1. MČR 2023 AGE GROUP – only competitors with Czech citizenship (medals).
Foreign competitors who want to start in the AGE category will have their own racing wave – INTERNATIONAL WAVE. The awarding will be:
1. Absolute victory INTERNATIONAL WAVE – only foreign competitors regardless of age (medals).
For the Relay competition will have two awardings:
1. Only competitors with Czech citizenship (medals).
2. Absolute ranking Relay – competitors with Czech and foreign citizenship (medals).
